Samsung has alleged that it will release Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based Galaxy Tab 2 310 in India before time this month.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 was exposed at the Samsung Forum 2012 occasion held earlier this year. The Tab 2 310 has a seven-inch screen and features 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The gadget has a 3MP back camera and a VGA camera for video calls, HSPA+ 21Mbps, Wi-Fi Direct and a USB 2.0 host. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 arrives with a 4,000 mAh battery. The Tab 2 310 is the first tablet to get Samsung’s cloud based All Share Play overhaul.
The Galaxy Tab 2 310 approaches pre-loaded with the Touchwiz UI, All Share play app, as well as the Hub apps – Reader and Game. Google’s set of services together with Google Play is also obtainable on the gadget. The Galaxy Tab 2 310 is obtainable in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB storage capacity versions.
There’s no word on the pricing, but it is probable to be around Rs. 23,000.
Independently, Samsung has also alleged that it is composed by the launch of low-cost tablets and price cuts by its rival. “We recommend widest range in terms of handsets to suit customer requirements, facilitate them to make a choice,” Samsung India mobile and IT applications head Ranjit Yadav said told The Hindu. He also pointed out that the company had a ample range of tablets in India within a price range of Rs. 30,000-36,000.
News that Samsung is releasing its Galaxy Tab 2 310 comes soon after the company proclaim Galaxy Nexus, the reference gadget for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, is not going to be released in India.
