BSNL the India’s first premium telecommunication company owned by the Govt. has again successfully launched two new combo sms & data prepaid vouchers for subscribers/customers residing in Kerala circle.

 2G data downloading and free SMS only at Rs 17 & 67. Users can send SMS’s to both BSNL’s On-net & Off-net & also at the same time data downloading with 2G speeds in a certain validity period.

The first SMS combo plan offers 90 SMS within BSNL Local network & also within other network & 90 MB of 2G data for a period of 15 days priced at Rs 17.

The last & final SMS combo plans offers 400 SMS within BSNL Local network & also within other network & 400 MB of 2G data for a period of 30 days priced at Rs 67.

Govt. based telco operator BSNL again has launched some attractive plan in SMSes segment in Chennai & Tamil Nadu circle for STV 19 & 72.

To activate this above pack users need to send SMS19 to 53733 or SMS72 to 53733. Rs.16.91 and Rs.64.08 will be the respective charges for those users who will activate this following packs via. SMS.

3G Yearly data plan has been launched by Govt. owned telco operator BSNL for all prepaid customers across pan-India basis. Actually this is a promotional offer from BSNL for both existing & new customers with 90 days validity effective from 15th April 2013.

Rs 3299, Rs 2299 and Rs 1251 were the different denominations of 3G yearly data plans with 12 months validity. 2.5 GB per month data will be offered with DPV-3299 for 12 months.1.5 GB per month 3G data will be offered with DPV-2299 for 12 months.0.75 GB per month 3G data will be offered with DPV-1251 for 12 months.

Some plans has been withdrawn by BSNL like denomination of Rs 331, Rs 551, Rs 1103 and Rs 2206 which belongs to 3G Combo Data STVs, denominations of Rs 80, Rs 751 and Rs 1000 which belongs to 3G Data STVs for Tablet plan & denomination of Rs 1500, Rs 2200 and Rs 3000 which belongs to Data STVs for 3G Routers.

Recently BSNL the State-Govt. Telco Company has introduced a new SMS pack both for Local & National for their 2G & 3G prepaid mobile users @ rate of Rs 22 & 72 respectively in Kerala Circle.

The benefits 22 STV SMS pack were 210 Local+National SMS only for 7 days & on the other hand 72 STV SMS Pack provides 1000 Local+National SMS’s only for 30 days.

As per Trai’s order any telco operator will able to provide 100 SMS per day for 50 p charge only under any kind of base tariff plan applicable to subscribers.

BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) one of the India’s leading telecom service provider has providing exclusively a CDMA data offer to GSM/3G users.

Likely, BSNL is shifting from GSM/3G to EVDO data card users & most of the kits were being issued in circles like Chennai, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh telecom circles.

There is only case for users who were submitting EVDO data cards & in exchange BSNL will provide 3.6 Mbps USB GSM/3G data cards. Now this data cards will be providing 10 GB data for 6 months by taking Rs 750 for 6 months acting as a rental plan.

TnC will be applicable as per existing after the postpaid plan is activated. This plan will be effective from 29.01.2013 till 90 days.

Recently all the telco operators has hiked their voice tariff as well as GPRS tariff like Airtel, Vodafone & Idea has reduced the 2G data tariff by Rs 98, Uninor has reduced  6GB to 3GB data & the price stands at Rs 90, Earlier Tata Docomo was providing 6GB data at STV 95 & right now the tariff has revised to 3GB for STV 98. Most notably Govt. based telco operator BSNL also reduced the 2G data usage from 2GB to 1.25GB at STV 98.

There were some major changes in this 2G data plans introduced by these telco operators.

1. For Rs 95-99, 650 MB in 21 days ( earlier it was 1 GB for 30 days).

2.For Rs 123-126, 1 GB in 30 days.

3. For Rs 145-149, 1.25 GB in 30 days, earlier it was  1.5GB or 30 days.

4. For Rs 198, 2 GB + Unlimited @ 40kbps for 30 days which was earlier priced at Rs 149.

Likewise 45 percent more data is being offered only by BSNL on home & roaming network.

New Plan has introduced via.BSNL on the prepaid tariff for existing & new customers.This plan will provide  50-60 percent less benefit than earlier tariff plan.

Like if we take an example of normal tariff plan 100 MB free internet surf  dropped to 55 MB, again 150 min on-net & 150 min off-net have been reduced to 75 min each & 100 min free on-net video call is available. 100 local SMS & 25 National SMS.

This action of reducing tariff plan was followed on some revised voice tariff plans like 50 p/min to 60 p/min  for on-net calls, recently off-net mobile calls increased from 60 p/min  & off-net landline calls from 60 p/min to 90 p/min. 2 BSNL numbers call charges hiked from 30 p/min to 40 p/min.

The differnt revised tariff plans are as:General, Pyari Jodi, Student Special, Jai Jawan and Roam Free.

One of India’s largest telecommunication service provider has come up with a new Wimax Broadband plan in Kerala.

This new plan will cost you around 850 rupees + S.Tax  with usage of around 9 GB per month providing speed of 2 Mbps.

If the usage exceeds the limit then for 1 GB 100 rupees will be charged. There is discount facility on rental i.e. 20 percent & 16.7 percent on annual payment of total bill for Govt. employees. Security deposit for Wimax Modem is around 1850 rupees & monthly rental is 50 rupees.

As per Trai’s new directives BSNL will not provide any ISD facility to its new prepaid mobile connections. Existing mobile customers will be informed via. SMS about this new facility.

But at the same time those who want to avail ISD services then the users have to send ACT ISD to 53733 & to stop using the services the users need to send DEACT ISD to 53733.

BSNL has raise the charges for replacing 2G SIM as well as 3G SIM prepaid & postpaid connections. If the SIM were lost then the tariff for replacing with duplicate SIM has hiked.

Earlier for normal 2G SIM replacement BSNL used to take charges of around Rs 20 & now which is around Rs 100. Similarly same in case of 3G SIM/USIM earlier replacement charges were around Rs 59 & now it is Rs 139.

The terms & conditions will remain same as earlier like submitting photocopy of id card and address proof etc. &  shall effective with effect from 19-November-2012.
