Recently many private operators like Airtel, Idea has taken some valuable steps to promote 3G services more than 2G services. So, the operators have hiked up the 2G internet tariffs. The reason was quite simple as we know the operators bided aggressively & started the 3G services in the year 2010.
Even the operators have made major changes in the popular data packs. The revision of tariff is seen as an anti-consumer move and it is expected that subscribers using Airtel, Vodafone or Idea’s 2G services on dongle will switch to other operators following this hike. Some online reports claim that BSNL will also revise their 2G plans soon.
Note:These plans may have slight price differences depending upon circles. The revised rates are not applied in certain circles.
