Already a record breaking shipment of around 3.11 million tablets sold in the last calender year 2012 as per report from Cyber Media Research (CMR). Of which 1.09 million tablets were shipped in the last quarter of 2012.
This tablet is steadily become a new part of Indian Consumers. 25.1 percent market share belongs to Samsung, 14.3 percent market share belongs to Micromax, 9.1 percent market share belongs to Apple as per CME report.
“The year 2012 and particularly the last two quarters (3Q 2012 and 4Q 2012) were significant for the India tablets market. We have seen the market for these devices grow substantially in 2012, particularly in the second half which made up for over 70 percent of the total sales.” as per comment passed by Faisal Kawoosa, Lead Telecoms Analyst, CMR.
“Samsung has been able to maintain the lead in the market only because of the first-mover advantage with the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note II. But this is not a sustainable strategy in the long term, as it has resulted in creation of the new ‘phablet’ form factor, attracting competitors at both ends of the price spectrum to follow suit. With the entrance of Apple at the top end and multiple Chinese and Indian players at the entry-level, the phablet segment is only going to see increased competition in the foreseeable future.” as per Tarun Pathak, Telecoms Analyst, CMR.

Recently Apple Mac OS based computers have stopped working properly. The Xprotect system built into Mac OS of Apple provides security protection. The basic reason behind Mac OS not supporting the recent version Java file 1.7.0_11-b22 is that recently Oracle current Java file version JRE 1.7.0_11-b21.
This kind of incident has happened twice in the recent times about the blocking of java plugin on Mac OS. To solve this issue Java has again released the much improved version of Java web plugin, but this newer one was exploited to higher security threats.
As we know that many of our internet browsers like Chrome, Firefox do require third-party applications for performing online bank transactions & many other activities. Right now many of the browsers either allowing or blocking any unkown plugins i.e. totally depends upon the user choice.
