 Already a record breaking shipment of around 3.11 million tablets sold in the last calender year 2012 as per report from Cyber Media Research (CMR). Of which 1.09 million tablets were shipped in the last quarter of 2012.

HP better known as Hewlett Packard trying to create its position in the smartphone & tablet market. Its also heard that it will be adapting Google’s Mobile OS i.e. Android for its ne high-end tablet with a support from Nvidia which will provide Tegra 4 Chip, already company has to failed to put an impression with webOS touchpad.

But Google is quite happy to partnership with HP via Android OS so that HP can participate in the tablet’s race. As HP is preparing itself to enter into the mobile computing system & Google could be a strong partner in this Android based echosystem.

Since the work has started since last year with NVIDIA’s powerful Tegra 4 chip to develop high-end Android Tablet from HP’s arsenal. This may be the first’s unnamed tablet to be shipped with Nvidia Tegra 4 chip.

A nearer and improved version of not expensive tablet PC, Aakash, would be released on test basis in May, Human Resources Development Minister Kapil Sibal alleged here today. 

“The second version of Aakash will be coming sometime in May,” Sibal told on the sidelines of an ICC organized superior education conclave.

He told that the tablet PC was being experienced and based on feedback from students profitable invention would be taken up.
The new tablet would have a enhanced 3200m AH battery with a three hour battery backup, a 700 MHz Cortex A8 processor and a capacitive touchscreen which would get over the former issues observed in the tablets, Sibal had said earlier.
The first stage of 100,000 tablets was aimed for students of higher technical educational institutions, he had said recently.
